Abstract

Um dispositivo e processo para prevenir a formação de incrustações e/ou corrosão das superfícies expostas de uma estrutura que está em contacto com água do mar,água salobra, água doce, ou uma combinação destas. O sistema inclui a utilização de uma estrutura dotada de uma superfície contendo zinco exposta. Na interface de superfície exposta/água é induzida e mantida uma carga capacitiva negativa ou uma carga eletrostática alternada assimétrica.
