Abstract
A mala tem um container geralmente retangular (10). Uma bainha vertical (30) está fixada à parte interna do container ao longo de uma parede extrema. Uma alça rígida (20) está montada de modo deslizável na bainha (30) e quando estendida é articulável para uma posição inclinada para diante para puxar a mala. Uma mola (26) ligada à extremidade inferior da alça leva a alça de volta a uma posição vertical quando a mesma está solta. As rodas maiores (57) estão montadas na mala por eixos transversais fixos (60) adjacentes à parede inferior (19) e centradas entre as paredes extremas dianteira e posterior. Uma roda com rodízio (62) está montada na parede inferior (19) adjacente a cada parede extrema.
