Abstract
Trata-se de um método de oxidação de materiais na presençã de um oxidante e água a temperaturas supercríticas para se obter energia utilizável e/ou mais materiais desejáveis. São empregadas pressões entre 25 e 220 bar. O emprego de temperaturas apropriadamente altas resulta em um reator de única fase fluida , velocidades de reação rápidas, alta eficácia de oxidação, e precipitação de materiais inorgânicos.
