Abstract
Um processo para o restabelecimento do revestimento refratário de um cadinho para a fundição de aço e recipientes metalúrgicos. Com cadinho (10) ainda quente, a escória (S) ainda aderente à superfície interior (26) é removida por fusão do revestimento (2) restante com auxílio de um queimador de alta temperatura (9) operando redutoramente e deixada escorrer para fora do cadinho (10) no estado líquido em fusão. Após o resfriamento, a superfície vítrea do revestimento (2) restante é tornada áspera. Depois se dá a aplicação do novo revestimento refratário (30) no processo de fundição com auxílio de um caixilho padrão. (Fig. C)
