Abstract
Ele é caracterizado em que para uma taxa de estiramento dada do fio inicial, realiza-se um tratamento térmico nas condições de duração e de temperatura tais que o fio de aço obtido após tratamento apresenta uma resistência mecânica ` a ruptura (R~ m~ ) superior a 850 MPa e uma estrutura tendo uma pequena quantidade de ferrita livre. Aplicação notadamente na fabricação de fios de aço compatíveis com H~ 2~S.
