Abstract
A remoção e neutralização de HCl da pluma de escape de um motor de foguete de propelente de grãos sólidos são obtidas mediante a inclusão de magnésio elementar como único componente metálico. O magnésio atua como combustível propelente e como removedor de halogenoácidos derivados do oxidante halogênico. A combustão do propelente de elevada energia produz uma pluma de escape da qual são removidos os halogenoácidos.
