Abstract

Trata-se de um artigo de metal que tem um revestimento de um lubrificante polar de não cura. Artigos preferidos são de aço inoxidável e podem ser dispositivos de corte, tais como agulhas, lancetas e cânulas ou dispositivos corrediços, tais como estiletes e fios de guia. Lubrificantes polares de não cura são polisiloxanos terminados com um grupo polar. Lubrificantes particularmente preferidos são polisiloxanos de aminoalquila ou carbóxialquila. O artigo de metal lubrificado pode estar em uma relação de deslizamento com um artigo de plástico, como, por exemplo, um conjunto de cateter-fio de guia ou cateter-cânula. A parte de plástico do conjunto pode incluir também um lubrificante.
