Abstract
Descreve-se um dispositivo adaptado para efetuar a expansão dos tecidos da órbita ocular constituído de um corpo (2), substancialmente cilíndrico, tendo um tubo (6), uma placa anterior (3) e uma placa posterior (4) dispostas, respectivamente, nas faces anterior e posterior do corpo (2), sendo que na face posterior são previstas pelo menos três fitas (5). O material empregado é o silicone grau médico, sendo as fitas (5) de silicone e tendo uma malha de reforço em fibra de poliéster, tipo Dacron^ R^.
