O processo para a destruição de acarinos da presente invenção é caracterizado por se aplicar uma composição contendo como ingredientes ativos: (a) 2,2,3,3-tetrametilciclopropanocarboxilato de -ciano -3-fenoxibenzila, N-(2-cloro- , , -trifluoro-p-tolil) valinato de -ciano -3-fenoxibenzila, ou (Z)-(1RS)-cis-3-(2-cloro-3,3,3-trifluoroprop-1-enil)-2,2-dimetilciclopropanocarboxilato de 2-metilbifenil-3-ilmetila, e (b) 2,4,5,4<39)-tetraclorodifenil sulfona, a acarinos resistentes a pesticidas.
