Abstract
Um concentrado de anatásio submetido a processos convencionais de concentração mecânica, metalúrgica ou química, isoladamente, ou em combinação de dois ou três processos, e isento de bário e altos teores de Ca, é submetido a uma lixiviação sulfúrica à alta temperatura, utilizando ácido sulfúrico em concentração elevada e à pressão atmosférica. A invenção tem sobre os processos de lixiviação clorídrica sob pressão, três vantagens principais: maior segurança, menor investimento com equipamentos e menor custo operacional.
