Refere-se a presente invenção a um sistema de comunicação submarina utilizando o meio físico (4) para comunicação de dados entre unidades de controle (1) e a superfície, unidades de controle (1) e veículos de operação remota (ROV) e/ou ainda entre duas unidades de controle, a transmissão dos dados sendo efetuada mediante modulação de feixes de energia eletromagnética (3) no espectro visível ou invisível que são transmitidos através do meio físico.
