PROCESSO DE POLIMERIZAÇÃO CONTROLADA DO ESTIRENO EM EMULSÃOE, USO DO MESMO E PRODUTO OBTIDO PELO DITO PROCESSO. A presente invenção se refere a um processo de polimerização controlada via polimerização NMRP em emulsão, utilizando-se o 2,2,6, 6- ttetrametil-1- piperidiniloxi (TEMPO) como controlador em reator não pressurizado operando a temperaturas inferiores a 100 0C. Foi utilizado no processo da presente invenção o bicarbonato de sôdio (NaHCO3) como aditivo ao sistema.
