A presente invenção trata-se de composições farmacêuticas em forma de dose unitária que compreendem uma cápsula mole ou dura que contém uma carga que consiste em um ou mais ingredientes inertes, e um ou mais revestimentos sobre a cápsula, em que pelo menos um revestimento compreende pelo menos um ingrediente farmacêutico ativo. adicionalmente, refere-se ainda no uso da referida composição na preparação de um medicamento para tratar ou prevenir condições gastrointestinais, condições cardiovasculares e condições relacionadas à dor.
