A invenção refere-se também a métodos para uso dessas formulações e revestimentos para mudar molhabilidade e estericamente estabilizar, e lubrificar superfÃcies biológicas em um indivÃduo, por exemplo, no tratamento de sÃndrome do olho seco, e para prevenir aderência de proteÃnas indesejadas, por exemplo no tratamento de intolerância de lente de contato.
