Abstract

APARELHO ORTODÔNTICO DISTALIZADOR ESTÁTICO. O aparelho ortodôntico distalizador estático, tem como diferencial, além de promover a ancoragem da bateria posterior, promover a distalização dos molares superiores sem causar a vestibularização dos dentes anteriores. O dito aparelho é constituído de uma placa palatina (1), na qual são acoplados dois botões linguais (2) e duas hastes distalizadoras (3). Tais hastes distalizadoras (3) possuem extremidades reativas (4) que são aderias à placa palatina (1), helicóides (5) que são encaixados nos botões linguais (2) e extremidades ativas (6) que se encaixam aos tubos linguais dos molares (11) ativando o aparelho. Possui também um arco vestibular (7) e barras estabilizadoras (8 e 9) que também são aderidas à placa palatina (1).
