Abstract
NOVOS PEPTÃDEOS E USO DOS MESMOS. A presente invenção fornece um polipeptÃdeo tendo uma atividade biológica das proteÃnas quimiotáxicas inibitórias de Staphylocoocus aureus ("CHIPS"), o polipeptÃdeos compreendendo ou consistindo na sequência de aminoácidos de SEQ ID NO:2 ou um fragmento ou variante do mesmo tendo uma atividade biológica de CHIPS, onde o fragmento ou variante mantém substituições de aminoácidos K40E, D42V, N77H, K100R, K105R, N111K e/ou G112A em relação à proteÃna do tipo selvagem CHIPS de SEG ID NO: 1. Em uma modalidade, polipeptÃdeo consiste na sequência de aminoácidos de SEQ ID NO:2. Aspectos relacionados com a invenção fornecem composições farmacêuticas compreendendo um polipeptÃdeo da invenção, bem como métodos para fazer e utilizar o mesmo.
