PROCESSOS PARA A RECUPERAÃÃO DE MONOETILENO GLICOL A PARTIR DE UMA CORRENTE DE PURGA DE CATALISADOR, E, PARA A FABRICAÃÃO DE MONO ETILENO GLICOLUm processo para a recuperação de monoetileno glicol a partir de uma corrente de purga de catalisador é descrito. O processo compreende uma etapa de combinar a corrente de purga de catalisador com uma corrente de produtos pesados compreendendo pelo menos 40 % em peso de dietileno glicol, para prover uma corrente combinada; e destilar a corrente combinada para prover uma primeira corrente compreendendo monoetileno glicol e uma segunda corrente compreendendo dietileno glicol.
