Abstract
VARIANTES DE ALFA-AMILASE DE BACILLUS STEAROTHERMOPHILUS E USOS DOS MESMOS. A presente invenção refere-se a variantes de alfa-amilases que 5 têm perfis alterados de hidrólise de amido. As variantes têm termoestabilidade aperfeiçoada e atividade especÃfica aumentada, resultando em um pico de viscosidade reduzido e viscosidade final alterada durante a liquefação do amido. As variantes de amilase são úteis, por exemplo, na liquefação e outros processos de degradação de amido.
