Abstract

Dispositivo de Assistência Ventricular e Método para Suplementar o Fluxo Sanguíneo. A presente invenção está relacionada a um dispositivo de assistência circulatória mecânica que possui fluxo axial, compreendendo um sistema de controle eletrônico e alimentação à bateria, capaz de proporcionar níveis fisiológicos de funcionamento cardíaco em pacientes com insuficiência cardíaca na fila de espera para um transplante ou como terapia definitiva em alternativa ao transplante. A presente invenção está também relacionada a um método para suplementar o fluxo sanguíneo através do uso do dispositivo descrito aqui.
