Abstract
APLICAÃÃO DE MATERIAIS VEDANTES A SUPERFÃCIES. A presente invencao refere-se a um método de um aparelho (20) para aplicação de material vedante ou de calço (26) a superficies (34). Os materiais são usados, em particular, na construção de aeronaves e outros veiculos. Os materiais são tipicamente interpostos em uma junta, entre um elemento estrutural de veiculo e um componente formando uma superficie externa de veiculo. Os materiais vedantes são aderentes. O aparelho da invenção inclui um braço movel (28) conduzindo um elemento de extremidade tendo uma superficie curva. O braco aplica a superficie curva a um tecido do material vedante, de modo que o material vedante fica enrolado em tormo da superficie curva. O braco é entao movimentado para o local da junta e o tecido de material vedante ou de calco é aplicado a superficie de junta, ou causando ou permitindo que o elemento de extremidade se enrole na dita superficie.
