Abstract
MÃTODO DE FABRICAR UM TUBO DE TRAQUEOSTOMIA DE BALÃO CUFF MELHORADO. Na presente invenção é provido um método de fabricar um balão possuindo uma espessura diferencial. O método usa um tubo bruto composto de um polÃmero de termoplástico que é colocado em um molde assimétrico. O tubo é preaquecido no molde a uma temperatura suficiente para amolecer o material do tubo e inflado com um gás para esticar uniformemente de modo geral o material do tubo enquanto permite que o tubo se retrate longitudinalmente, formando assim um balão. O balão finalizado resultante apresenta uma espessura de parede diferencial onde a região superior apresenta uma espessura de aproximadamente 15 a aproximadamente 30 micrômetros e a região inferior apresenta uma espessura de aproximadamente 5 a aproximadamente 15 micrômetros.
