A presente invenção refere-se a formas cristalinas da [3-( 4,5-diidro-3-isoxazolil)-2-metil-4-(metilsul-fonil)fenil)-(5-hidróxi-1-metil-1H-pirazol-4-il)metanona, que também é conhecida pelo nome comum topramezona. A invenção refere-se também a um método para a produção destas formas cristalinas, e a formulações que contêm uma destas formas cristalinas da topramezona para proteger plantas.
