A presente invenção refere-se a um método para aplicar revestimentos protetores contra corrosão atmosférica em superfÃcies metálicas, usando copolÃmeros compreendendo monômeros contendo grupos nitrila, monômeros contendo grupos ácido, monômeros vinil-aromáticos como componentes monoméricos. A invenção adicionalmente se refere à s preparações para aplicar revestimentos protetores contra corrosão.
