DISPOSITIVO DE FORMAÃÃO DE IMAGEM POR RADIAÃÃO COM FORMATO RETANGULAR IRREGULAR E SISTEMA DE FORMAÃÃO DE IMAGEM DENTAL, FORA DA CAVIDADE ORAL, PRODUZIDO A PARTIR DO MESMOA presente invenção está correlacionada a um dispositivo de formação de imagem por radiação, o qual inclui uma pluralidade de detectores individuais que definem uma área ativa de formato irregular, responsiva a raios X e com diferentes larguras ao longo de uma extensão da área ativa. Os detectores individuais podem ser de diferentes formatos retangulares e podem ser montados sobre um painel base. O painel base pode ser formado de um primeiro modulo, suportando o primeiro dos dois detectoresindividuais e um segundo módulo destacável, conectado ao primeiro módulo, suportando o segundo dos dois detectoresindividuais.
