Abstract
DISPOSITIVO DE OSTOMIA.Um adaptador de estoma é descrito que é especialmente adequado para um estoma em recesso ou um estoma superficial. O adaptador de estoma efetivamente estende a passagem de evacuação a partir do estoma, protege pele periestomal, e forma uma ponte na interface entre o estoma e um dispositivo de ostomia. O adaptador de estoma contém uma passagem de evacuação substancialmente desobstruÃda, pelo menos para escoamento de efluente em um sentido de evacuação. O adaptador de estoma inclui um selo para fechar-se contra a parede de intestino. O adaptador de estoma tem desenhos flexÃveis e reforçados, colapsantes e expansÃveis.
