Os hidrogéis superporosos poliméricos podem ser espumas de hidrogel à base de PVA. Os hidrogéis superporosos poliméricos podem apresentar atividade antimicrobiana intrínseca contra bactérias gram-positivas. Os hidrogéis superporosos poliméricos podem ser bem adequados para incorporação em pensos ou similares.
