Abstract
PROCESSO PARA PREPARAÃÃO DE UM ALQUILENO GLICOL. Um processo catalÃtico para a preparação de um monoalquileno glicol de um óxido de alquileno correspondente utilizando uma resina de troca-iônica e um reator no qual um processo de fluxo ascendente é empregado. Em particular, o processo inclui reagir água e um óxido de alquileno em pelo menos um reator sob condições para formar um alquileno glicol, em que o pelo menos um reator inclui uma resina de troca-iônica e o reator é operado em uma direção de fluxo ascendente.
