A presente invenção se refere a um processo para a hidrólise de nitrilas das Fórmulas (I), (II), e (III) respectivamente ou das amidas das Fórmulas (IV), (V) e (VI) em que R é hidrogênio ou alquila C1-20, para formar as amidas e/ou ácidos correspondentes ou os ácidos correspondentes.
