Abstract
METODO PARA TRATAR MATERIAL DE REVESTIMENTO DE CUBA GASTO CONTENDO CARBONO E/OU MATERIAL INORGÃNICO. A presente invenção diz respeito a um método para tratar material de revestimento de cuba gasto (SPL) contendo carbono e/ou um material inorgânico, o método compreendendo: fornecer um forno de plasma tendo primeiro e segundo eletrodos para gerar plasma e um cadinho tendo superfÃcie interna eletricamente não condutora, aquecer o material de SPL no cadinho na presença de um material fundente e um oxidante passando um arco entre o primeiro e segundo eletrodos por meio do material de SPL para formar um material de escória em fusão e converter pelo menos parte do carbono no material de SPL a CO e/ou CO; e/ou incorporar pelo menos parte do material inorgânico no material de escória em fusão.
