A presente invenção refere-se a um processo para a produção de frangos para produção de carne que compreende alimentar os frangos com uma ração para frangos que compreende desde 10^3^ até 10^11^ CFU de bactérias Baclilus por grama de ração, caracterizado pelo fato de que a ra- ção para frangos tem um nível reduzido de energia metabolizável (ME) de desde 85 % até 98 % da ME em uma ração para frangos padronizada (total 100 % de ME).
