Onde a patente proposta, trata-se de guias/goteiras cirúrgicos de aplicação em cirurgia ortognática, onde o desenho da peça é feito a partir de ferramentas CAD que utilizam como base imagens tridimensionais do paciente obtidas a partir de tomografia computadorizada manipulada por softwares de simulação cirúrgica e sua fabricação é feita utilizando tecnologia de prototipagem/manufatura rápida.
