Abstract
A presente invenção se refere à preparação de novos materiais com estrutura porosa que contém carbonato de cálcio de origem mineral ou procedente de algas formadas majoritariamente por dito sat junto com argilas tipo bentonita. Também se refere à sua utilização industrial na eliminação de gases e vapores ácidos e a seu emprego como fertilizantes agrícolas. Estes materiais se caracterizam por estar conformados como cilindros ocos tipo macarrão liso ou estriado, reto, curvo, de corte regular ou irregular em qualquer forma e tamanho e por apresentar um apreciável desenvolvimento textural.
