Abstract
Trata-se de um dispositivo cilíndrico rígido, compreendido por uma válvula interna bicúspide (2), aplicado junto ao sistema de circulação extracorpórca, responsável por manter um fluxo pulsátil externo semelhante ao fluxo natural do corpo humano. Além disso, o dispositivo também tem a função de impedir que o sangue retorne no sentido contrário ao da circulação normal, ou seja, impede o refluxo sanguíneo durante o procedimento da circulação extracorpórea. O dispositivo é compreendido por: tubo cilíndrico (1); válvula bicúspide (2), cavidade interna cônica (3); orificio de entrada (4); e orificio de saída (5).
