A presente invenção trata do uso de pelo menos um extrato de bactéria filamentosa não fotossintética e não frutificante cultivada em um meio que compreende pelo menos uma água mineral e/ou termal não sulfurosa para prevenir e/ou tratar o ressecamento das matérias queratínicas, em particular o ressecamento cutâneo e em especial para tratar os distúrbios ligados a uma pele seca e/ou hipo-seborréica.
