UTILIZAÇÃO DE DERIVADOS DO ESTEVIOSÍDEO COMO REGULADORES DE CRESCIMENTO VEGETAL EM UVA. Utilizam-se dois reguladores de crescimento vegetal, obtidos a partir do esteviosídeo. Esteviol e isoesteviol foram obtidos e testados "in vitro" e "in vivo" em cultura de uva. Através de comparação de suas atividades com o ácido giberélico, o regulador de crescimento vegetal comercial mais utilizado para esta finalidade, verificou-se que aqueles compostos possuem atividade semelhante. Esteviol e isoesteviol podem, portanto, substituir o ácido giberélico em suas aplicaçôes agricolas de regulação de crescimento vegetal, principalmente em cultura de uva.
