A parte central (L1) é separada das partes de ressalto da banda de rodagem (8, 12) por dois sulcos circunferenciais (3, 6); pelo menos uma fileira circunferencial (9) incluÃda entre um primeiro e segundo sulco circunferencial (3, 4) está presente na parte central (L1). A banda de rodagem (2) tem uma relação cavidade/sólido menor do que 0,28. A fileira circunferencial (9) compreende sulcos transversais (16) estendendo-se sobre pelo menos 80% da largura da fileira circunferencial (9). Cada sulco transversal (16) compreende uma linha mediana tendo pelo menos uma primeira extensão retilÃnea (106; 107) e uma extensão curvilÃnea (108). Os sulcos transversais (16) têm uma largura menor do que aquela dos sulcos circunferenciais (3; 4).
