Abstract
PEPTÃDEOS BIOATIVOS CURTOS PARA MODULAÃÃO CELULAR E IMUNOLÃGICAPeptÃdeos tendo quatro a quatorze resÃduos que possuematividade biológica são divulgados. Estes peptÃdeosconstituem fragmentos curtos do peptÃdeo HB-107 (ID. de SEQ.N°: 1), que o próprio é um fragmento da proteÃnaantimicrobiana cecropina B, e exibem propriedadesestimulatórias, migratórias e anti-inflamatórias celulares.Como queratinócitos são especialmente sensÃveis a estesefeitos, os peptÃdeos divulgados compreendem um agente útilpara o tratamento médico de ferimento à pele, tal comoúlceras diabéticas. Os peptÃdeos são também eficazes emprevenir e reverter dano à superfÃcie da pele resultando devários insultos ambientais. De forma importante, os efeitosterapêuticos dos peptÃdeos manifestam em concentraçõesiguais ou maiores que as do peptÃdeo HB-107, e assimrepresentam um meio menos caro, mais versátil paradesenvolver terapias eficazes. Os métodos para a produção euso destes peptÃdeos são também divulgados.
