BETA-ALANINA/ALFA-CETOGLUTARATO AMINOTRANSFERASE PARA PRODUÇÃO DE ÁCIDO 3-HIDROXIPROPIÔNICO. A presente revelação provê novos ácido nucléico de betaalinina/alfa cetoglutarato aminotransferase e sequências de proteína possuindo atividade biológica aumentada. Também são providas células contendo enzimas, bem como métodos para sua utilização, por exemplo, para produção de semialdeído de malonila e produtos dos mesmos, tais como, ácido 3-hidroxipropiônico e seus derivados.
