A presente invenção refere-se a uma vela de ignição com um eletrodo central (4), integrado dentro do isolador (3), e um alojamento (2) que envolve o isolador (3) ao menos parcialmente, caracterizado pelo fato de que no isolador (3) está disposto um elemento (7) superficial com capacidade condutora que estabelece contato elétrico com o alojamento (2).
