Abstract
COMPOSIÇÕES E MÉTODOS PARA O TRATAMENTO DE INSUFICIÊNCIA CARDÍACA CONGESTIVA. É aqui fornecido o uso de moléculas de GLP-1 ou agonistas ou análagos das mesmas, e o uso de moléculas de exendina ou agonistas ou análagos das mesmas, incluindo seus derivados e fragmentos ativosa, para a prevenção ou tratamento de insuficiência cardíaca congestiva. Composições farmacêuticas para uso nos métodos aqui descritos são também reveladas. São ainda fornecidos composições e métodos para o tratamento e/ou prevenção de diabetes melitus, hiperglicemia, resistência á insulina e obesidade, e para a redução da ingestão de comida e supressão de apetite em indivíduos.
