A presente invenção refere-se a uma composição herbicida que compreende 1-(2-cloroimidazol[1,2-a]piridin-3-ilsuIfonil)-3-(4,6...dimetoxipirimidin-2-iI)uréia (imazossulfurona) e um composto representado pela fórmula (I): (composto [I]) como ingredientes ativos, na qual a razão em peso de imazossulfurona: composto [1] é de 1:0,1 - 1:10, tem uma excelente atividade herbicida para controle de ervas-daninhas em campos de cultura ou arrozais e não causam fitotoxicidade contra plantas úteis.
