Abstract
TRATAMENTO DE PACIENTES ESTRESSADOS. A presente invenção refere-se a processos e composições para fornecer nutrição a pacientes no estado crítico. Em uma modalidade, o processo compreende administrar a um paciente que está passando por um estado caracterizado por uma fase de resposta inflamatória sistêmica seguida de uma fase de resposta antiinflamatória compensatória uma primeira composição nutricional, enquanto o paciente está experimentando a primeira fase e administrar ao paciente uma segunda composição nutricional diferen- te enquanto o paciente está experimentando a segunda fase.
