Abstract
FRITAS E VIDRADOS UTILIZANDO RESIDUO INDUSTRIAL GERADO NA DEMOLIÇÃO DE CUBAS ELETROLÍTICAS DE PRODUÇÃO DE ALUMÍNIO. A presente invenção trata da obtenção de vidros utilizando resíduo perigoso gerado na indústria de alumínio, conhecido como RGC - resíduo gasto de cuba ou SPL - "spent pot lining". O resíduo tratado adequadamente é adicionado com outras matérias primas e após fusão da mistura e resfriamento brusco obtém-se um vidro que fixa grande parte do Flúor existente no resíduo em cristais dispersos na matriz vitrea. Este vidro resfriado rapidamente apresenta propriedades similares de fritas existentes no mercado, podendo ser utilizado na composição de vidrados para recobrimento de peças de material cerâmico.
