PROCESSO PARA ISOLAMENTO DE UMA AMINA ORGÂNICA. A invenção se refere a um processo para o isolamento de uma amina orgânica de uma composição compreendendo a amina orgânica e um ácido ou um sal de amina orgânica e o ácido, onde o processo compreende as etapas de adição de amónia e hidrazina à composição, formando um sistema de múltiplas fases compreendendo uma fase rica em amina orgânica e uma fase rica em ácido, a fase rica em amina orgânica e a fase rica em ácido obtidas na etapa (i) são separadas e a amina orgânica é isolada da fase rica em amina orgânica.
