MÉTODO PARA CONTROLAR ERVAS DANINHAS AQUÁTICAS, E, USO DE UMA COMPOSIÇÃO. A presente invenção refere-se a um método para o controle de ervas daninhas aquáticas que compreende aplicar uma quantidade herbicidamente eficaz de pelo menos um composto de fórmula (I) na qual X é halogênio e R é halogênio ou C1-C6 alquila, e/ou um ou mais seus sais agriculturalmente aceitáveis para atuar sobre ervas daninhas aquáticas submersas e/ou seu hábitat aquoso contendo sementes ou outros órgãos de propagação de citadas ervas daninhas aquáticas.
