Abstract
USO DE COLINA PARA PREVENÇÃO DE TROMBOSE ASSOCIADA COM A NUTRIÇÃO PARENTERAL TOTAL. A deficiência de colina é um fator de risco para o desenvolvimento de trombose em pacientes com falência intestinal que requer nutrição parenteral total. E fornecido um método de prevenção de trombose, preferivelmente trombose venosa, compreendendo a administração a um paciente que recebe TPN uma solução nutriente que compreende colina. É fornecido também um método de diagnosticar um risco para trombose que compreende coletar uma amostra de um paciente e detectar o nível de colina livre no plasma.
