A presente invenção refere-se a um produto de liga de alumínio tendo alta resistência, excelente resistência à corrosão e capacidade de sol- dagem, tendo a seguinte composição em % em peso: Mg: 3,5 a 6,0 Mn: 04 a 1,2 Fe: <0,5 Si: <0,5 Cu: <0,15 Zr: <0,5 Cr: <0,3 Ti: <0,03 a 0,2 Sc: <0,5 Zn: < 1,7 Li: <0,5 Ag: <0,4, opcionalmente um ou mais dos seguintes elementos formadores de dispersóides selecionados do grupo consistindo em érbio, ítrio, háfnio, vanádio, cada um <0,5% em peso, e impurezas ou elementos incidentais cada um <0,05, no total < 0,15 e o saldo sendo alumínio.
