Abstract
POLIPEPTÍDEO, SEU USO E COMPOSIÇÃO FARMACÊUTICA COMPREENDENDO O MESMO. A presente invenção refere-se a agentes terapêuticos antimicrobiais que atuam via um novo processo para tratar infecção são compostos que podem compreender um peptídeo com aminoácidos naturais ou não-naturais, ou uma molécula pequena. O agente pode se ligar à superfície de um microorganismo e produtivamente fixar complemento de modo a causar lise do microorganismo via a montagem de um complexo de ataque de membrana, pelo que disparando remoção do micróbio por fagocitose. Osagentes podem ser fragmentos de TFPI, por exemplo,a partir da região de terminus-C.
