SÍNTESE DE BETA-LACTAMA. A presente invenção refere-se a um processo para a preparação de -Iactamas. Em geral, uma imina é ciclocondensada com um ceteno acetal ou enolato para formar o produto de Beta-lactama em uma síntese de "one pot", este processo é geralmente realizado em uma temperalura mais alta do que processos convencionais.
