Abstract
VEDAÇÃO INTUMESCENTE. Uma vedação intumescente flexível para proteção passiva contra fogo tem um material de base que consiste de uma mistura compreendendo pelo menos um polímero termoplástico, grafita expansível e pelo menos um composto gerador de ácido. O composto gerador de ácido é um composto orgânico de boro e o pelo menos um polímero termoplástico é um polimero e/ou copolímero de vinila. A vedação pode ser formada por extrusão, estiramento, moldagem ou injeção da mistura.
